Event Description: Climate change is quite rightly at the centre of attention as society attempts to cope with significant changes to our weather and climate. 

This expert lecture will examine the latest scientific evidence for the causes of enhanced global warming. Once we understand that our climate is changing significantly how can society cope? How can we reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the new climate?  How will Birmingham and the West Midlands be affected?  How do we need to change our lifestyles?
