Explore Birmingham: The Rotunda opens its doors
Event Description:
Birmingham rediscovers city-centre living. Nathan Cornish, of urban regeneration company Urban Splash, will lead an exclusive tour around the newly converted Rotunda. Designed by Glen Howells Architects for Urban Splash, this 1960s icon has been completely transformed to provide bold new skyscraper homes. See the Rotunda now – before the new residents move in.
Nathan Cornish will take you on an exclusive tour of the Rotunda which will include one of the penthouses, a duplex apartment and private terrace.
Glenn Howells Architects have transformed this 22-storey 1960s office tower into 234 apartments for developer Urban Splash. The Rotunda has been part of Birmingham’s skyline since the 1960s when it was designed by architect James Roberts. In 2000 it was listed Grade II by English Heritage, confirming its landmark status.
Please note, this tour will now be led by Nathan Cornish, the managing director of Urban Splash Midlands, not Nick Johnson as previously advertised.
